Nathan is a seasoned art director and senior concept artist whose work brings stories to life across film, TV, and games. He honed his craft in traditional animation, working for Disney and Warner Bros classics like Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. His versatile portfolio spans History Channel’s critically acclaimed series Vikings, the Emmy-nominated Con Man series, and projects for Marvel, Warhammer, and Adidas. As an art director, Nathan has shaped the visuals of many animated features such as Scary Girl, Combat Wombat and the Annecy-nominated The Sloth Lane. With an eye for detail and a relentless creative spark, he pushes boundaries and delivers distinctive project visions.

VIKINGS
I developed an authentic journal for HBO’s Vikings series for Athelstan’s journal by using a coarse mullberry paper which I tore into sheets and stained in tea to create the aged look. Concepts were designed digitally before the final illustrations and lettering were hand drawn with a rough charcoal stick appropriate for the period. The pages were then bound and covered by the amazing prop team.
